Spike's Chihuahua Song 2.0

I am working on a revision to the Chihuahua Song! It will be up soon, maybe by the time you read this.

I am also officially renaming the title of the song to: Spike's Chihuahua Song. This because there is another song out there called 'The Chihuahua Song' and I don't want people to think they are the same. Mine is more of a funny song where the other is more like cheap techno, Macarena style. Anyway, the other song has probably made millions of dollars and mine has not. :)

By the way, no offense to Taco Bell, I actually like their food (just don't call it Mexican). My favorite thing to eat there is the 2 Double Deckers with Guacamole and a soda meal.

If you have friends that will appreciate this kind of humor, send them the link to the main page (kids and teenagers seem to like this song a lot).

Remember, if you want to download the file, you have to right click on it first.

The Chihuahua Song

Finally, I have recorded the Chihuahua Song! It's short, but I am somewhat pleased at the quality (considering that I made it at my house).

This song started as a silly reaction to the Taco Bell commercials that showed a little dog saying, "Yo Quiero Taco Bell!" around 1998.

I was working at a YMCA day camp and I loved to play random tunes with made-up lyrics. The kids seemed to really like this one and I kept singing it until I 'finished' writing the lyrics in 2002 at Camp MayMac.

Let me know what you think.

Thanksgiving...

It seems rather obligatory that I write something in my blog. It's been a while I guess.

If I could write an equation for yesterday it would be

Thanksgiving Day = 1/2 Day^(extremely dull day at work) + 1/2 day^(extremely cool family gathering) + Food + 1/2 (White side of the Family) + Dad - (Mom + Jeremiah).

Well, that seems stupid. Maybe If I had paid more attention in Calculus I could create a more elegant equation.

Anyway, work was super boring -being the only person in 3 buildings can be depressing. I am so glad I got to switch to the day shift from the night shift.

After what seemed like an eternity, I got to go home and everybody that was supposed to be there, already was.

The turkey took a long time to cook but I think that turned out to be a good thing because everybody was starving and everything tasted really good! (Good job Clara).

I had fun talking with my Uncle Gene... see, about ten years ago, Uncle Bryan gave me 2 boxes full of Legos that were in his room. The Legos belonged to Uncle Gene who was in college at the time and he did not necessarily want to part with his Legos, but I didn't know that. So when Uncle Gene found out, he was mildly annoyed (at Uncle Bryan)and since then he has given me a hard time about it.

Well, yesterday, Uncle Gene confessed that most of those Legos had received discounts from his five fingers. I couldn't believe it. Then he started telling me about how Aunt Aileen and Aunt Becky had stolen 20 bucks from Grandma Jan. With the money they bought a huge bag of candy and chocolate bars at Seven Eleven and they were only like 6 or 7 years old! To top it all off, Uncle Gene, snitched on them! (what a hypocrite!)

Anyway, that was that.

After dinner, I spent some time talking with Aunt Becky about cool music and stuff (she likes Röyksopp, which is cool -those two guy makes awesome music!) By the way, her blog (if you follow the link) is very technical, mostly gibberish to me. If you know something about web services, or want to learn about them, read her blog.

Anyway, after a while, people started to leave. Esteban (my brother) got on the computer and wanted to play Heroes 2. We had limited success, but in the end he did get to play. I went to sleep before he finished. This game, Heroes of Might and Magic II is one of the most amazing games ever created. The bad thing is that it is old and not too compatible with my computer. I am seriously thinking of buying an older computer just to be able to play the dumb game. But I'll write about that some other day, maybe.
